1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Heatsheet ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") at joinheatsheet.com or app.joinheatsheet.com, you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

Heatsheet is a fantasy track and field application that allows users to draft real-world track and field athletes, compete in fantasy leagues, and earn points based on those athletes' real-world performance results. The App is provided free of charge and is intended for entertainment purposes only.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Heatsheet. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information (name, email address, and optionally phone number).
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • Be solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, contain false information, or are inactive for an extended period.

5. Fantasy Game Rules

Heatsheet is a skill-based fantasy sports application. By participating, you agree that:

  • Draft selections, scoring, and league results are governed by the App's published rules, which may be updated from time to time.
  • Points are awarded based on objective real-world athlete performance data from track and field competitions. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that all results will be processed without error or delay.
  • Any disputes regarding scoring or league results must be submitted to us within 7 days of the relevant event. We reserve sole discretion to resolve scoring disputes.
  • We may modify game rules, scoring systems, or league formats at any time with reasonable notice to users.

6. Athlete Data and Intellectual Property

Heatsheet uses publicly available athlete performance data (names, times, results) from track and field competitions for fantasy scoring purposes. We do not claim any ownership over athlete names, likenesses, or competition results.

All original content on the App — including but not limited to the Heatsheet name, logo, interface design, and original code — is owned by Heatsheet and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the App without our written permission.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or other users' accounts.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers on the App without our express written consent.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HEATSHEET AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, AND EMPLOYEES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heatsheet and its owners, officers, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Links and Services

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us at the email below.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.
